Generally, the best thing to do is to remove the battery for a few minutes and reinstall it.  This will kill any of the settings you've made.  Reprogram.  If that doesn't work, replace the battery or recharge it.  Also clean the contacts on it.  If this fails, I suggest you weigh the cost of service versusu a new camera.

My Camera keeps asking me for the date and time every time I turn it on How do i stop this?

Press the m button during shooting or playback to display the setup menu. The setup menu provides access to a variety of camera settings, including options not listed in the function menu, display options, and the time and date. Once you have the date and time set it should stop asking.

Hi there. A mystery error shows the Display of my Finepix S2 pro. Its like that: "o - -" or "o _ _" in the upper Display. Has anyone an idea for that? Best regards, Harry

Try resetting the camera by removing the battery for 15 mins. Replace the battery then go to the camera's Menu and scroll through the settings to set the Date and Time.

I switch on my camera today (finpix 6900) for the first time in a few months and with a new battery. When it comes on it is displaying 'set date & time' but doesnt let me do it or even cancel it as it...

The digital camera relies on the date and time and without setting it the camera will refuse to cooperate with anything you try to do with it. My concern is that once you set the date and time you will be fine until you shut the camera off again because I believe that when you start it back up you will get the same display message and if you do the camera internal battery needs to be replaced.

Says date/time not set but wont let me set the time or date!

Broken keypad ribbon. It's because the keypad ribbon is folded over twice and the creases split over time. have a look at my tips page for this problem. It won't help you much I know and the only solution is a replacement membrane.

Error message display in iso.

The E in the ISO field simply indicates that there is no memory card installed. This is not an error, as you stated that you haven't inserted a memory card. Put in the memory card and format it, and this will go away.

Using my memory card, i check my photos display with out date & time.

You will find a setting that will date/time stamp the actual image when it's taken. Please take a look in your manual. Most cameras have this feature.

Kodac M8931S how to change date&time after first setting?

should be in setup screen. If the date does not hold after a battery change/charge, then your capacitor on the mainboard is bad, it wont affect anything but the date/time and any custom settings you have set. It can be replaced be a camera shop, but it will exceed the cost of the camera in most instances.

Fuji FinePix S5000 stuck in date/Time mode

Set date and time and camera should work. If camera asks to have date set everytime you take batteries out then the memory 3 volt battery is flat ... replace.
