I have a 8800 Gigaset mobile phone and I can't get it out of a "searching" mode. I don't know what it is searching for. I guess it is looking for a base station pin number but I don't know that for certain. Siemens dropping their tech support for this system did us no good whatsoever. Anyway, good luck with changing the pin.
