Put in new top screen, now bottom touch screen unresponsive
I just replaces the top screen with a new one.When i powered it up both screens looks fine but when i went to touch the touch screen it wouldnt respond,I make sure all the connections were in and tight, i can figure it out, mabey i nicked someone on the mother board. Please help if you can.

Clean the touch screen on the phone with an electronics cleaning cloth or wipe. Dirt, dust and oils from your fingertips can collect on the screen, making it unresponsive or desensitized to your finger's touch. Clean the screen in a circular motion.
Eliminate any bubbles under the screen protector. You can do this by removing the screen protector and then reapplying it, going from the top of the screen to the bottom or vice versa.
Remove the screen protector and do not place the protector back on the touch screen. Screen protectors are made for protecting a touch screen, but sometimes the protectors make the touch screen less responsive to your finger touch or even altogether unresponsive.
Power off the touch screen phone if the touch screen stops working when a new program is opened. This isn't a problem with the touch screen, but a problem with the software trying to load or open on the phone. Some programs can slow response time with the touch screen or may not respond to it at all.
Try restoring it. Instructions are in the restore section of your iPod. If you restore it, don't update the iPod, because it seems that the update made your iPod unresponsive. It should be fine then. Good Luck!
Well, if you've touched the bottom of the screen with anything but the stylus, then that could be why it's unresponsive. I know that "the llama's adventures" has a DS screen repair kit, but it requires a bit of cash, time, and expertise.
the cables need to be inserted Fully And squarely/evenly.
Also ensure The Tabs are locked Down correctly.
If none of this Works, you may have a blown On-Board Fuse.

Ok, remove the battery for 5 minute to reset the internal programming. once the 5 minutes are up, re insert the battery and power up. if the screen is still unresponsive, you will need to contact your manufacture for a repair ticket. the internal software that is used for collaborating the touch screen has failed.
