Hi, I have a brand new Canon Powershot A630, and for some reason, my Dell Windows computer will not recognize the CD-Rom software. I feel like I've tried everything, even trying to add a program through a CD on Add Programs. Help!
The software on the CD is slightly outdated. Here is the driver download page for your camera: http://alpha02.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?RQF=MENU&RQS=WWUCA910&LA=1187365946277&SV=WWUCA1351&TRF=MAIN You probably don't need the drivers, but they're there if you do need them. What you do need is "ZoomBrowser EX5.8b Updater for Windows" Although it says it's an updater, you can use it even if you aren't updating anything. This includes CameraWindow, and all the software that would be on your CD.

I have disconnected the camera, turned it on and reconnected it, the computer isn't recognizing the camera, I'm trying to upload pictures.
