I have a Sony kp48v80 that needs a new A PCM board. However, Sony has stopped making the part and I can't seem to find it anywhere. The part number is "a1299051a" but no one on the internet seems to have it. I hate to discard a great tv for lack of a $300 dollar part. The part that is bad is the HV transformer and Sony has stopped making that too.

Your model uses two of the STK392-150 ICs however there are also pico fuses and convergence resistors that will normally require replacement along with the ICs. You can get The Sony repair kit called " KP48V80 - KP61V80 Convergence repair Kit " which works for the KP53S76 models too and it has the Two Ics with heat sink , the pico fuses and the 12 resistors. The kit is listed on the following page http://tvrepairworld.com/sony_repair_kits
Have you tried swapping the PCM? It may have busted capacitor that's why the maf is not working properly. Please do check the PCM for burn, you may need a PCM replacement just incase it's faulty. Please keep me posted on the progress.

HI:
You need to replace the analog board assembly, this is the board that you plug connections into, seems the HDMI port has malfunctioned, there may also be a problem with the main board assembly that the analog board connects to.
Check for grease on the platter or anywhere in the mechanism. Sometimes somebody has messed around with the speed preset, there might be two. You could try adjusting them. Sometimes they are found on the underside of the turntable, covered up, or they will be on the PC board of the deck.
