Question about Canon Digital Rebel / EOS-300D Digital Camera with EF-S 18-55mm Lens
My camera was dropped and now my 18-55mm lens will not fully rotate back to the 18 mark. It feels really tight when turning. Is there anything I can do to fix this. Also my camera will not take any pics with this lens. Thank you. Lori
I dropped a lens and it wouldn't rotate into fully locked position too. The little flange that holds the lens in the camera was bent. I had to bend the flange back. It's a delicate operation. Check if one of your locking flanges was dinged. Have you tried a different lens?? Will it lock into place? The camera won't see the lens without it fully locked in. You can still do manual pics though.
