Anyone know what error code ' DR ' IS ON THE AFFINITY WASHER?

    Any suggestions if receiving this error and the door is locked? It is shut and starts cycle and now just keeps clicking like there is a problem, but the door is shut tight

    Brand new washer have had it 2 days, I have done 1 load of laundry worked fine, now it wont start and says Dr, the door is closed all the way I have checked everything and the damn thing still wont work.



    VERY FRUSTRATED!

    I have the exact same problem. it does this all the time. I'm not sure what happens, it's like it has a mind of its own. it will start one day and not the next. the door is closed... it just won't lock for some reason.

    Half way through a load, DR code came up and can't seem to find any problems with the door!

It means the door isn't shut all of the way.

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving a "DR" error code on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model ATF7000E. The "DR" error code is stating that there is a possible problem with the door. This could also be a possible false error code. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. Error code DR comes up on my Frigidaire Affinity and won't keep running
It is telling you there is something wrong with the door lock assembly. You will probably have to replace it, but check it first for a broken wire or some other problem that you can fix.

Affinity frigidare front load washer won't start. It beeps with message flashing (DR)

Hello zabbster - Typically the DR or DO error code indicates that the door switch is not closed. Make sure that the door lock is completely closed. If the door is closed, make sure the door latch is not broken. If the latch is broken, you may possibly need to replace the door lock switch.

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,

I suspect 'dr' stands for Door (error). There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest. Sorry ;-0(

Dr error code
“do” or “dr” - door problem. The door is not locking, the control is not able to confirm the door is locked. Might just be corrosion on the door lock connection. Or a bad door lock OR an item in the door keeping the door from locking. Manual and more here
