Date and Time Setting

How would I go about changing the time and Date on my calculator? Thanking you in advance, have a great day

    Set DATE to September 14, 2004 (09-14-04)

    1. Depress the C or C/CE key.Your display with show 0. and the tape will read 0.C.
    2. Depress the TIME/DATE key and hold until the display is flashing.
    3. Enter the month, in our example, 09. Your display will show 9.
    4. Enter the day, in our example, 14. Your display will show 914.
    5. Enter the year, in our example 2004, as 04. Your display will show 91404.
    6. Tap the TIME/DATE key to set the DATE. Your display will now show 09-14-2004.
    7. To PRINT the DATE, depress the (#/S) key, your tape will show # 9.14.2004.

    When I follow these directions down to #6 it still doesn't work by tapping the c/ce key to set the date!!

You can download the manual for the 1260-3 which I guess is very similar from the link below: http://www.victortech.com/admin/images/products/1260-3%20manual.pdf Here are examples of the date & time setting: Set DATE to September 14, 2004 (09-14-04) 1. Depress the C or C/CE key.Your display with show 0. and the tape will read 0.C. 2. Depress the TIME/DATE key and hold until the display is flashing. 3. Enter the month, in our example, 09. Your display will show 9. 4. Enter the day, in our example, 14. Your display will show 914. 5. Enter the year, in our example 2004, as 04. Your display will show 91404. 6. Tap the TIME/DATE key to set the DATE. Your display will now show 09-14-2004. 7. To PRINT the DATE, depress the (#/S) key, your tape will show # 9.14.2004. Set TIME to 4:37 PM 1. Depress the C or C/CE key. Your display with show 0. and the tape will read 0.C. 2. Depress the TIME/DATE key and hold until the display is flashing. 3. Tap the TIME/DATE key to go to Time Mode. 4. Enter the hour, in our example 16 in military time. Your display will show 16. 5. Enter the minutes, in our example 37. Your display will show 1637. 6. Tap the TIME/DATE key to set the TIME. Your display will now show P 04-37-00 and the seconds will begin counting. 7. To PRINT the TIME, depress the (#/S) key, your tape will show #?04?37. Set time and date on casio dr-270tm
I ACTUALLY HAD A HARD TIME MAKING THEIR STEPS WORK. BUT WHAT I FINALLY FIGURED OUT WAS THE "FORMAT" WASN'T CORRECT. I WOULDN'T MOVE PAST THE DAY WHEN I WAS SETTING THE DATE. IT WOULD ENTER THE MONTH OK BUT THEN STOP AT THE FIRST DIGIT OF THE DAY AND WOULDN'T ADVANCE TO THE 2ND DIGIT. BUT WHAT I FIGURED OUT WAS THAT THEY WANTED THE DAY AND MONTH SWITHCED. SO INSTEAD OF ENTERING 07-29-2015 I HAD TO ENTER 29-07-2015 HIT TIME TIME AND IT WAS DONE. VERY FRUSTRATING BECAUSE THE MANUAL SAYS TO ENTER IT THE AMERICAN WAY 07-29-2015. ANYWAY, IT WORKED FOR ME. HOPE THAT HELPS. :o}

SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
You can set the time and date on the camera as long as the battery stays in the camera. Once the battery is
removed the time and date settings will be lost:

When you see "dAt" on the screen, press SHUTTER button to set the
time and date.
Press POWER/MODE button to toggle from Y09 (2009) to Y30 (2030).
Press SHUTTER to advance to next date setting.
Press POWER/MODE button to toggle from 01 (January) to 12 (December).
Press SHUTTER to advance to next date setting.
Press POWER/MODE button to toggle from d01 (1st day of month) to d31
(31st day of month). Press SHUTTER to advance to next date setting.
Press POWER/MODE button to toggle from H00 (12 a.m. military time) to H23
(11 p.m. military time). Press SHUTTER to advance to next date setting.

Date Changes during the day
Hi Jeffrey, Put stem into "set hands" position and adjust hands to the 12:00 position. Day and date should advance at or close to that time. If you pass 12:00 and there's no change continue rotating another 12 hours and they should advance. Once youv'e found that there's midnight so if you're setting the time at say four (4:00) in the afternoon (pm) you will neew to rotate the hands so around the dial so they pass 12:00 once more then four hours more to 4:00. Now I assume by bilingual you mean that the day ring has like Mon (monday) and Lun for Spanish or the like. In this case if it's showing the wrong languare set the crown (winder) to the first position (second posn is "set hands) and rotate winder eithr clockwise or anticlockwise. Once you discover how to advance the day ring just set it to the correct day/language you want and press the crown home. Hope this solves your problem. If the advances are changing at some obscure time like 8:40 or something it's because the hands pave been located incorrectly and would need correcting by removing movement from the case.

Sharp EL-1801P III Calculator Setting Time & Date
1. Switch the GT*RATE SET button to RATE SET.
2. Press the date/clock button to display current time.
3. Enter time wanted using military time. 4:52 p.m would be entered as 16.52 (Note the 16 is followed by . then enter the 52. (ie. 10:45 a.m. would be entered as 10.45)
4. Press the date/clock button again to enter new time.

Just reset mine and is current. If the built in battery needs changed, access panel is on the back. It uses a watch type battery.
