Screw drop Hi I was installing my new LG dishwasher and I droped a screw in the hole in the side panel where you can put a screw to connect to the side of your cabinet. There is a small plastic cover which I removed where you can screw a screw into the cabinet. However the head of my screw was too small and fell in the side panel. I can not get the screw out or see it now although I know it is in the dishwasher. Is there anyway of getting it out or will this cause a problem? Since it is in the side are they any electrical parts there? Thanks

A great retrieving tool for this is a flexible shaft magnet wand. I strongly recommend this tool be placed in everyone's toolbox. as far as leaving it there if not found? probably safe from electrical. will years of vibration allow it to cut through some plastic or metal? perhaps, but to a minimal event. so I actually recommend that you leave it there, if the magnet wand can't find it.

Only way to find the screw will be by opening dishwasher panels and looking for it. But since there are not any electrical parts in the machine's side, you can leave the screw there and not to be worry about. Good luck!
