ICBM-9191 DVD Player Issue

I recently had this installed in California for a long car ride with children back to North Carolina. The DVD player works great up to about 55 minutes and then shuts off and restarts. The kids and I are severely frustrated and the people that installed it say that they don't know what it could be. Please help.

Dvds and cds skip when you bump them..my opion not made for cars. i think dvd movies can hold up to 4.7 gigabyte of video and sound, cds 700 megabyes. solution is maybe not invented yet? but download the dvd to a gadget like an 40 gig I-pod and plug in the video and sound to a monitor.. ipods have a hard drive in them but can take alot more abuse. now remember search the web for a portable small harddrive with digital to analog conversion, for ipod is really just a mp3 player.

My icbm 9774 wont play videos off my ipod

go back make the IPOD is speaking the same format as the DVD sometimes they don't mix .also make sure your cords are good try a new cable see if that makes a difference.

I have a question about my monitor. How do I know there is power going to my monitor? When I play a movie everything works...sound, dvd player, etc, but there is no power to the monitor. the monitor does...

If this is an over head, all in one dvd player, well,if the player works and the sound, and the dome lights...it has power. The issue may reside with the monitor being disconnected (ribbon cable) or the monitor is done.

I bought my DVD player a year ago, I barely drive

mine did the same thing its a loading problem you gonna have to dual website and get the tech number and they will send you a email on where to send it i had to ups it to north carolina where they repair it i paid a 117.00 charge because mine wasnt in warranty yours may be still but they fixed everything that was wrong with it and shipped it back now iam rockin again
