Question about Rheem Heating & Cooling
Have to hold down reset to keep it running
Posted by Anonymous on
That reset is for the high pressure switch. this means your compressor is getting to hot which is then increasing the pressure and tripping the switch because the fan isn't running. usually if a capacitor is bad you can give the motor a "kick start " and the blade will then start turning. use a long stick or screwdriver to spin the blade but then you will know you need a cap. that switch is protecting your compressor, don't hold it down to keep it running.

Is the contacror pulled in? If not check the low voltage to see why it isn't, if it is, check for voltage out the other side with a meter.

You may still have air in the line. You will need to hold down the button again with a hose on the bleeder screw and open it. Do this until no bubbles come out of hose. Just keep holding the reset down for up to a minute.

I will suggest you try reset the printer, follow the instruction below to reset your printer, if the problem still persist, replace the cable that connects the printer to the power outlet. If that did not still fix the problem, you will need to reinstall the driver of the printer, you can get it at HP web site.
1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold # and 6 keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.
If that did not fix the problem, try this,

The most common reasons for power issues are the battery, power jack and power adapter/cord.
Power off and remove the battery. If the laptop powers on with just the adapter connected, your battery is faulty.
If you move/wiggle the power adapter at the point where it connects to the laptop, and the power goes off and on, the power jack is the problem.
The power jack is inside the laptop and either needs soldering or replacement. If a power jack problem, it should be addressed by someone knowledgeable.
If no change, the power adapter is probably faulty and needs replacement.
Hope this helps.
