Remove the top cap on the agitator and see if the bolt has come loose. If it is not there, the agitator will come loose from the gear case shaft and free spin.

Model AA7000AWW. Why are clothes still wet?

The most likely cause for a washing machine that is able to still spin but still turns but the clothes are still very wet is a problem with the drain hose to the washer . Most of the time with this issue or whichever is causing it to not drain during the spin cycle means the water isn't draining off very quick enough and is essentially going back into the washers drum, that is re-soaking your clothing.

My washer is making a clicking sound when it is about to begin the high spin cycle to spin the water out of the clothes and is unable to begin the spin cycle on it's own. I have to manually move the knob...

If this is a belt drive unit it could be the belt or whats called a actuator also call a shifter. This componet switches the gearbox from agitate during wash to Spin to extract the water from the garments.

Washing machine does not drain during rinse cycle?

Turn timer to rinse cycle. let fill up and agitate. when it stops agitating it should pause then start to pump water out. After about 2 minutes it should pause for 3-5 seconds then start again and spin. If it starts the first time and never stops it will just continue to pump but no spin. The 3-5 second pause allows the transmission to shift to spin. If it does not do this the problem is your timer. You may need to do this a few times to verify the problem.

If that is not the problem it is likely that you need a new clutch. You will need a technician to install a new clutch for you

Cloths Soaked after Spin Cycle

If the motor has a transmission, it could be stuck in 1st gear. I think the agitator running is normal.

NAV5800a top loader washer

The inside of your agitator became worn, and possible strip out the spline that allows the agitator to properly grip the shaft. The loud noise mustly occurs during the spin cycle. If you hear this loud noise your load of clothes may have become unbalanced. Stop the washer and redistribute the clothes, then re-start it.

Model MAV3855AWW revision 26 loud knocking sound during agitation, weak spin clothes are soaked after spin cycle belt replaced

The problem is 2 fold. The "knocking" noise is indicative of brake rub. The fix is to replace the rotor & stator. The reason that your clothing are coming out wet is because the brake is dragging along a polished stator when in spin and cannot get up to its proper speed as a result. The 2nd item that should be replaced is the thrust bearing assy. This is what enables the transmission to transition from agitation to spin... Hope this helps... Bill

Just spins during the wash cycle

Sounds like the agitator got dislogged during moving. In some machines the design allows for the agitator to move up and down alittle too much. Try this and this is only a guess. With the machine empty push down firmly on the agitator and move it back and forth as you do. You might hear a little "pop". If it does, try running the machine again. If it works problem solved, if not tell what happened.
