SOURCE: Mold on gasket

Maytag settled a lawsuit a few years ago for the same problem. We missed the boat and after battling it I'm just going to replace the gasket. I've tried everything from Windex to straight tea tree oil. The best thing actually, I've found is using something sharp to literally scrape the mold off. I just can't find a part number for the brush part that goes around the drum.

SOURCE: mold on the gasket of kenmore duet front loader

This is a common problem with front loading washers. To prevent this issue leave the washer door slightly ajar after use. It will promote air circulation and prevent mold.

Frigidaire model fftr1835vs styrofoam inside filter housing unit. Should it be there?

Not 100%certain to what styrofoam you are referring to but there is definitely styrofoam components inside the machine. The entire drain pan is made of styrofoam, I would not touch it.

The foam is glued on,so you will most likely destroy it trying to remove if you don't be careful.

My ac window units are not draining water and creating mold in my house

Check the drain tube between the evaporator side to the back of the unit. It may have a packing plug installed. If there is one remove it or clean the drain tube.

The styrofoam inside the unit is covered in black mold. I was wondering what i should do if anything.

Any mold in any part of the unit is not good, especially if its in the Styrofoam, Styrofoam has pores and hides the mold spores well, it would be dangerous to actually run the unit with mold spores as it can travel inside the house. Unfortunately companies that make these units don't make these units mold proof, why should they? that's how they make their money. I have three units, one has always given me problems with mold. It always comes back. The other two are always clean. My best advice, get rid of the unit and get another one or get a free estimate on Central air and heat. Mold is very dangerous and is not worth the risk, it can cause a number of medical issues.

Mold issue on front gasket

A solution of bleach and water will do. Just wet the rag and rub it down well. When this is done you may still have the marks but the mold is dead. If you want it to be completely clean you may need to replace.it.

Mildew in the water spouts

try using liquid wash detergents placed in a plastic ball inside the drum, instead  of using powder placed in the soap drawer, because the residue of powder left in the drawer allows bacteria to build up, thats what causes the 'black deposit' you speak of, its very difficult to remove
