Does this work on other windows systems such as XP?
This could be anything from a defective HDD, defective Lacie enclosure, Odd format on the Hard disk, bad or confused USB port on your PC etc.
Check it is seen in device manager
Check it is seen in disk management
Check it is formatted in either NTFS or FAT32 in disk management

i need more help please i have no usb keyboards in the house and no money to buy one ,what else can be done to fix this?
there is a jumper that needs to be put on pins 2 and 3 to unlock the keyboard,these pins are located in the lower right corner of the motherboard,it's the top set of pins are the 5th and 6th pins to unlock the keyboard,thanks for the help and make a note of this peoples,have a wonderful day.
