No sound
9 times out of 10 a set has no sound because something is not set right. Make sure the signal is good (some cable boxes can be set for no sound), go through the audio menu and make sure the speakers are set to ON, make sure the set is not in the SAP mode, or look for a speaker switch on the back of the set. If you check all of that and still have no sound, your audio output IC could have failed and the set should be serviced by a qualified tech.

if you turn the volume way up you can hear it a little bit if you put your head to it.
