I suspect that the cable to the carb is binding. Make sure when you reassemble the box, the cable works properly. Put the box together loosely and keep checking the action. Position the parts if it binds. Good luck!

Small personal check has caused jam. How do I get it out without seeing it?

most devices have some type of way to pull something through the "feed path" obviously you've looked and maybe you got "some" of it out. repairing printers and copiers for 30years there is always a way it usually requires steps that the client is prepared to do or wants it to be someone else to break it if its going to break. Part of the service techs experience is knowing what screws to pull out which ones to leave alone. a red or blue nail polish looking substance across a screw usually means ..."you crack this screw and change the position of whats underneath be very sure you can get it back..." so when one is removing screws and brackets and good memory is handy ( I knew a tech that took pictures as he went...pretty unprofessional in someones office but ya do what ya gotta do...) at any rate if you feel uncomfortable join the crowd...if you feel terrified don't commence repairs! no really if you were in front of me I'd be reading your body language to see if you were the "take it apart and be the office hero type or not. if you are then go slow and work your way to the rubber feed rollers there's usually a spring or two keeping them together. slightly overcome the roller tension and work your newly found jam outward. Some have a wheel for simple jams, use it also. usually sensors before and after the scanning lens. if a tuft as we call it has torn off and remains blocking the sensor it will be bi hove of you to test it before you put it COMPLETELY together. Hopefully the power cord was removed before trying any of this. take some canned air while you have it apart and a damp NOT dripping water rag to the rubber rollers that got you in this mess. Air first damp rag second. hope this helps a smidge~~~~~SC
tip

I found this very useful. I have a brand new F5914-900 and no other solution...

When the brushes stop spinning on a Hoover SteamVac, it can be caused by several things. In order to diagnosis why your brushes aren't spinning, please view the diagnosis solution I have done on Fixya:
http://www.fixya.com/support/t4286338-hooverspin_scrub_brushes_always_stop

If you have diagnosed your machine, and found that the internal receptacle is not spinning, then you'll now need to replace your turbine. This tip will explain in detail how you'll need to complete this repair.

Here's what you'll need to complete this repair:
- Hoover SteamVac Replacement Turbine Brush Gear (several different parts for different models)
- Phillips Head Screwdriver
- Flat Head Screwdriver

Step 1. Remove both the clean solution, and the dirty solution tanks from the machine, and press the handle release pedal so that the handle is laying down flat:

Step 2. With a flat head screwdriver, pry off the rotating brush speed indicator knob:

Step 3. Unscrew the silver screw that's at the very top of the see-thru suction port where the dirty solution tank rests.

Step 4. Turn the SteamVac upside down so that the brushes are facing upwards. There are four clips that hold these brushes in place. You'll need to remove the brushes from the machine by squeezing the four tabs while pulling upwards at the same time. The picture actually only shows the two tabs on the right hand side being squeezed, but the tabs on the left hand side are in the exact same location:

Step 5. Once you've removed the brush block from the machine, there are 4 screws on the bottom that need to be removed. Keep the two silver screws on the very corner in place, you won't need to remove these. Remove the four screws that I've highlighted in red:

Step 6. Turn the machine back over right side up, so that the brushes are on the bottom. There are two clips that hold the top housing in place. Insert your flat head screwdriver in between the top and lower housing in the rear of the machine close to the rear wheels, and pry upwards to un-clip these clips on both the left and right sides, then remove the top motor housing from the machine.

Step 7. You'll now have complete access to the turbine. Remove the two silver screws in the front of the unit that hold the turbine in place, as well as remove the front hose from the turbine:

cabbd35.jpg
Step 8. Once you have removed the two screws you'll be able to lift the turbine up. There's a second hose in the rear of the turbine that you'll also need to remove before you can remove the turbine completely. After you've removed the hose, take the turbine out of the machine. You'll notice to the immediate left of the turbine other hoses that connect to a black circular part. This is actually the pump that sprays the water on the floor. If you ever have the problem where the clean water solution will not spray, it's a good possibility that this part needs to be replaced.

Simply install the new turbine, reattached the hoses and two front screws. When you're putting the top motor housing back on the unit, make sure that the brush speed selector knob that's on the right side of the turbine fits through the **** in the top motor housing. Also before you tighten the two screws that that hold the top housing in in front of the brushes, there's two clips. You'll need to snap the top motor housing behind these two clips. Simply push front of the motor housing until you hear it snap into place.

I took my arrow ET200 nail master apart to remove jammed nails. I need a diagram on how to put it back together

Susan Sylvia is exactly right. I just fixed my tool with her information. I would add to be very careful not to disturb the 2 small springs(associated with the trigger and safety mechanisms) and take note of how they are positioned. Also, the screws seem to strip unusually easily so be gentle when removing and replacing them.

First my R button of right trigger button gets jammed Second my screen is cracked Third my games cd over breaks where it's not playable

at times debris and foreign substance will get in past the trigger, if you spill soda it will also make the button sticky, there are several ways to fix this problem , one would be to take the controller apart by onscrewing 6 small screws on the back of the controller, just remember how you took it apart and if you have a problem ask an adult to help you.

Says there is a paper jam and there is none

Might be something deep inside your printer causing this. I had same problem and i got fed up and took printer apart, there was actually a small tiny screw sitting way below the rollers. My son probably dropped in there. I removed it and put back together and it worked perfect.

My printer says there is a paper jam, but when I look there is no paper jam. What can i do?

I had a printer that kept giving me a paper jam error. Nothing visually was there though. I then opened up printer, basically took the whole thing apart bit by bit then found a tiny screw loose just laying stuck between print rollers. You can t see this when it was together. It was the work of my 2 year old dropped screw in there. I put together and worked like new. There could be some small object inside near rollers or some where inside your printer. Usually the paper jam means something is jammed in printer. If you dont want to open, which i preffered not to do but i did because i was going to trash my printer, you can call manufacture and see what options they can give you. Some will take it back if you upgrade to another printer, but you will have to pay some extra money.

My swingline electric stapler model 42130 is jammed is there a manual release button the one on the back doesnt work

Taking the stapler apart is a complex task if you can figure how to do that.To dismantle the stapler, slide back the top, remove two small screws on both sides, six on the bottom, four of the screws are under the sticker so you must peel off the sticker, you must also remove the sticker on top. There two tiny shinny screws at the bottom once you are inside. Now you have access to more screws you can take off to get to the staples place where the jam is. Watch cables where they are plugged to in case they come off. If you are are a mechanical technician or technically inclined you might be able to fix this yourself but you must be very patient.

Stapler works intermittantly

If not the power source or cord, the next activation point would be the trigger. Does the stapler make any sort of noise when the trigger is depressed? What type and model stapler is it?
