Go to the Brother Solution Center to download the MFLPro suite for your machine and install it. The PaperPort software will have to be installed from the original CD (which you do not have) or replaced by some other OCR program. Try FreeOCR.

Printer with LexmarkZ715

Few tips regarding your Lexmark printer.

f you do not have the disk you must download the software from Internet, follow instructions below,

Click here:Official Lexmark Drivers and Software

A web page will open, follow instructions, select model, select operative system etc., and click on download .
Chose to download the file in my documents when asked.
After downloading, find the file,double click on the file ,then if you get in troubles, follow the instructions below to reset and reinstall drivers:

Unplug printer USB.
Go to control panel >> installed printers in Windows and remove (delete ) any installed printer from printer list.
Download driver from website, or use the disk and run the install file.
Follow driver installation wizard.
Plug back printer when prompted from installation wizard.

Note:some printerdoes not work on Vista, if you do not find any driver download for Vista on your model page, that means your model is not Vista compatible.

Here is the Lexmark Support page:

Lexmark Support

Enter your printer name (Z715) and it will take you to the support page for it. Click on Download Driver. Next select your operating system. You can choose the driver or utility software from the next page.
