Lubricate bearing


i dont know of anyone who sells bearing for motors find someone who sells hayward give them the model and serial number off the pump you need a new motor dont forget you also need new seals

To the motor housing. This will be a green screw on the top of the wire box in the back of the motor. It will be inside the wire box but on the outside edge of the housing.

Three pvc pipes coming into an max i flo pool pump should all three valves be open to run the pump?

I have a Hayward max-flo ii pool pump and it is very noisy. I already replaced all seals because it was also leaking. Are the bearings the cause of the noise? If so how do I replace bearings?


The bearings have likely lost their lubrication and have failed. You may be able tot find a local electric motor repair shop to replace the bearings. It really is not a diy project. However, if you can't find a local shop to do it, most folks replace the motor.
