Hello, I have same problem with dsc-t10, when I open my camera than I found 3 motors, two of them on the right of the lens, these are to adjust the focus. One of them was broken.

The most likely cause for this is a zoom or focus lens out of place or impaired in some way andcan be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repairedby a qualified service technician.

The systems control board has detected a problem with the auto focus lens, the focus is controlled by a tiny motor that has jammed or there is a mechanical issue with the camera lens. It will require a technician that is highly skilled to deal with the situation, but the repair cost would probably not be justified.
Are you pertaining to the Focus mode? If so you can unlock it using the Focus mode selector lock switch. Press the Focus mode selector button to change the focus mode.

Here goes... -push menu -arrow all the way over to the right until you get to settings -arrow down two click till you get to setup 1 -go down to initialize and click ok -it will turn on and off then you need to re enter time and date
The zoom and focus operate on screw thread drives. 1 of these has detatched resulting in "ZOOM ERROR" and locked the camera up. Dis-assemble lens and re-attach drive.
I bought the Pentax espio 115 Camera in Tokyo and have been well using but it was out of order suddnly .I could find in Lcd panel appeared <H3 mark>and not worked after.

The mechanism is to be replaced. Before this check the TG assemblies for any deformation. Then check the reel table also for any defects. We provide spare parts for all kinds of SONY and Pansonic Models.
Well Heero if you are the tech guy you say you are- and Kodak arn't helping you- this suggests a mainboard failure and the camera is not going to get repaired.
