Red light on power strip

The light on the power strip turned red and now I can't get any power to the unit. I hit the power button and get nothing. I haven't really tried anything cause I don't know what to try.

Call Microsoft, this is usually a fault with the power adapter itself if it's still under warranty, you may be in luck Otherwise you need to resort to something like this "http://www.hackaday.com/2006/01/05/xbox-360-atx-power-supply/2" Not recommended however

Only red standby light comes on,Hit power button on remote, light goes out,unit turns off and have to replug into wall to get red light on.

There would be some problem in the output amplifier stage. Thats why its going to protection mode.

Sharp Aquos LC45GX6U & TU-GD10U. The unit doesn't power up, and has a red blinking light from the moment you plug it in. The unit works fine in service mode.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. My Nexus NX32031 won't power on. None of the caps are bulging. .

Probably power supply out on the main board.
If you haven't before, buy a New TV and a UPS (battery backed up power strip) to protect your TV from power hits and Brown outs.

Why did this turn off by itself?

You may have a problem in the audio output chips in the unit, first check the speaker wires on the back for shorts, a common problem, if okay you will need a technician to take it to the next step.

Error#5100 comes on my printer and printer stopes

5100 is a carriage error, check the timing strip for contamination(plastic strip about 1/4" in width)
The unit is not homing, check for obstructions[hitting resume button with power for me]

Reset the printers

1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not,
press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal..
