If your SP1 camera cannot recognize the micro SD card, please be sure you are using a card between 4GB to 32GB, class 10 speed. If possible, please try another micro SD card to be sure that the card that is not recognized is not defective. If you are using a card with correct specifications and it is not recognized, then the micro SD card port on your camera may be defective. Please contact Intova directly via email: [email protected] or call us at 808-837-0074 for customer service/warranty coverage. Thanks.

Want to watch movie from ext stor device, tablet says it's blank-it's not.Sd card has short vid + tablet says format card, + says I may lose all the data!Is this the data in my tablet, or data on sd?

Its because the tablet is not able to recognize the sd card properly.
The best thing you can do is copy all the contents of the sdcard to a computer. Then insert the sdcard in to the tablet and format it.
After that connect the tablet to the computer and copy all the data back to the sdcard.

When I try to put music on the micro sdcard I cant. Then I try format the sdcard and it tells me the sdcard is write protected.

Hello!!

I suppose you are using the card via inserting it in the CAP ( Holder) that came with the card to be able to make it used with card reader.

So, the Micro SD card gets locked only through it's CAP (Holder)

Steps to Unlock :

Insert the card into the CAP (Holder).
Please check the Upper Left side of the CAP (Holder).
There must be One switch which will slide Up and Down.
Push that switch to Upper side. (Pushing to downward will lock while the reverse will Unlock the Card).
Now Insert it to Card Reader to use it.

Hope it Helps..!!!

LifeDrive will not recognize SD expansion card

If the sdcard is the right type and size all you need to do is fully insert it into the slot. Its spring loaded so it will pop up if it isn't quite far enough in. It should only fit one way.

Generally the LD likes 2gb and smaller sdcards , it can use bigger such as 4gb but that's when you can be hit or miss. That depends on brand and sd version. If you search for a list of LD compatible sd cards you should find out what card to use or buy.
