Try an eprom reset *2767*3855#

if that does not help correct the error, then take it back to where you purchased the phone and have it exchanged for a new one

Walmart has a policy exchange program that is over the counter, I would make full use of it because they will replace your camera. By your description the camera has two issues, and there is nothing that can be done to remedy the situation.

To answer your questions, depending on how much use, (meaning how many snap shoots) will dictate whether your camera has reached its life expectancy. The proper procedure for long life with the battery is to have it totally drain out before charging it. If charged too soon the battery has a memory and will only work as long as the short period the battery was charged. It sounds like camera is worn out. Good Luck

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair center for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

Hope the advise is useful.

Andrea

LCD Screen remains black

Hi!
Have you tried pushing the DISP button while taking pictures? It's on the right from the LCD.

My camera's monitor/screen is black with no picture

My AIPTEK 1080p was powering on but the screen was turning off within one second of turning the unit on. I verified that the camera was still working and just the output onto the screen failed. I was able to resolve this by hooking the camcorder up to the TV and viewing the menus on the TV and then turning the camcorder off with the power button. I think this problem happened because I didn't do a "clean" shutdown the last time I had my aiptek hooked up to the TV. It is now working perfectly!

Motorola Hint QA30 Camera Can't Take Pictures

Restart the phone. They're built like mini-pc's these days and as fast as they update they can't always fix em right. I noticed if you run AIM and try to use the Camera at the same time - that's a no-no. Just power down and back up, Should work fine.
