F2.8 - 5.4 is better keeping everything else same. This is because f2.8 means a higher aperture size. This means you can increase the shutter speed to get the same level of exposure as a f3.3. So ur images will be less blurry theoretically at lower lights. but then other factors also would influce such as teh quality fo lens and more importantly optical image stabilizer.

Why won't my nikon cookpix p520 turn on, it's dead

1. Did you hold down the HOLD switch for several seconds? (On top, next to Shutter)

2. Have you inserted a different battery

3. Is the camera really not starting, or is it instead the display is black.

4. Have you tried inserting a different SD memory card. Many of the SD cards now will cause some cameras to freeze, either because they are too high capacity (older cameras) or SDHC (older cameras) or not formatted properly, and other reasons.

Hold down the HOLD Switch
Use a different battery
Use a different SD card.
See if flash works and it is not just a black display.

Try connecting camera to computer.
Open My Computer and see if camera shows
If camera does not show then computer is not recognizing the connection, try different port o different cord, or different computer.

If camera icon shows, then right click on icon and select Open.
Navigate to images.
Drag and drop images into a folder.

While icon is still active.
Right click icon, select properties, or select 'open-with', and rummage around to see if there are options telling XP what to do when camera is connected.

Computer not seeing camera

Here are a few things you can try:

- Plug the camera into a different computer and see if it's detected on a different computer.
- Ensure the software for the camera is installed and up to date on the computer you are plugging the camera into.
- Plug a different device (printer, iPod, Mouse, etc...) into your computer into the same port. If a different device is not detected - it may be that the port on your computer is broken. If that's the case, then use a different port for the camera.

Those are some general things to try to get you headed in the right direction.

Whats the difference between Canon EOAS 550D /Rebel / non rebel? Which is better camera?

Identical Canon models are sometimes marketed under different names in different parts of the world. Rebel cameras are known in America and EOS cameras are known in Europe. For example the EOS 550D is called Rebel T2i in America. They are in fact the same camera they just don't have the same name.

I plug my camera into my computer and my computer won't find it .

If the camera is not detected by the computer what you can try here is to try connecting the camera on a different USB port and check if it will be detected , but if still not detected if possible for you to try a different USB cable that will be better or if possible also try to connect the camera on a different computer so we can isolate the problem if its just the USB cable , the USB port or the camera itself that is bad...

Olympus fe-130

Make sure your cable is OK. 1: Make sure you don't have any damaged pins on the plug on your camera and on your USB port on the computer Try using a different cable to be sure that is not the problem. If you can t ry a different camera on the same cable and make it work, your camera is at fault. Try it on a different USB port, and possibly also on a different computer to make sure the port on your computer is not at fault. Check both cable ends and the ports on the camera and computer are not dirty
