HanShing Packet Cam 305 CD Needed

Got a HanShing Packet Cam 305 but am missing the CD to install soft needed to run it. Could I buy a copy from U or get drivers sent by attachment? Glad to pay for a CD. Thanks! John Paul Loucky [email protected]

Dear Jackboy,
Thanks as mine is an XP. however, when I plug cam in it did not upload images. What should I be doing to get it to do so?

If your computer is Win ME/2000/XP/Vista The CD is not needed to upload images Windows will do it all by its self. Editing modestly by downloading free Picasa

If there is an option called "computer" "storage" "mass storage" or something like that on the camera, set it to that setting before plugging it in to the computer.

Once you plug it into the computer, your PC should recognize the camera and install the necessary drivers.

Those kinds of cams most of the time, unless they are able to be used as a webcam, do not "send" or "receive" any information over the usb cable unless they are on the correct setting, which is probably why your computer isnt seeing it.

Hanshing driver

i just bought the same camera and it wouldn't work with the cd either. i had to make sure that on the camera it was set to "pc" and that "mass storage" was selected before plugging the camera into my pc. hope this helps.

Which driver did you try to install? Try this one; http://www.treiberupdate.de/treiber-download/download-159429-treiber-Hanshing-HS308.html Click halfway down where it says "treiber download" - sorry website is in German - the driver itself once downloaded is all in English.
