I turned my philips hdd120 off and only half the screen went off and now its frozen and wont turn back on. pls can someone help me.

PHILIPS PLAYER CRASHED HD120/17, IT POWERS UP AND THE SCREEN LIGHTS UP WHEN TURNED ON BUT THERES ONLY A BLACK SCREEN. NO MENUE NO GRAPHICS JUST LIGHTS..
Pressupper forward button and Volume up button in the same time and hold it for 5 second. Power it on and it should work

Wont turn on
hiya!! i have one of these pesky things. it has a mind of its own!! u need to reset it by pressing "previous track" and "volume up" buttons (in that order). screen should go blank, then turn on as normal. also i would recommend updating firmware to version 6.6 at www. phillips support

Repair the GoGear - warning: this will delete all files from your player.

1) Back up all files on the GoGear
2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips)
3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button
4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new

Hi there, i got a Philips HDD 120 !Like 20 minutes ago i have transferred all the music from my pc in my Mp3PLayer (Hdd 120) and after 1 minute it suddenly blocked ! I can see the last 2 Links : All Tracks - and - Recordings ! and the other half of the screen is Blank ! i have tried to restart it , but i can`t !!! I think it`s gone ! I have crushed it like 10 times on the floor but it still , does`t work:D Can someone tell me what to do ! Thanks !
