Question about Epson Stylus Color 777i InkJet Printer

Printer problem got the error message redid the driver reboted the printer wiped down the printer i just put new ink in it it was fine 2 days ago but stopped printing any ideas?

    I keep getting error message 31002 when I try to pring a Finale document.

Do refillable cartridges cause HP 3650 printer to not print????????

Get new ink cartridges. If they sit that long without being used the ink will dry out in the print head part of the cartridge and clog the very small holes. The clogs are inside the cartridge so wiping the outside will not clear the blockage. In the future if you have to leave the unit without it being used for over about a week you should remove the ink carts and put them in a sealed zip lock bag to prevent them from drying out.

Print job disappearing and not printing

1. Check for a paper jam. Paper jams occur when one or more sheets of paper become stuck in the feeding or printing mechanism. Gently remove any jammed paper and reset the printer.
2. Check ink levels. Those ink cartridges run out fast. If your printer looks like it is printing but nothing comes out on the page, you might be out of ink. Try replacing the cartridge and printing again.
3. Check for a clogged print head. If you know you have ink, the print head might be clogged. Navigate to "Control Panel > Printer > Right Click > Properties > Maintenance > Clean Cartridges" to attempt to clean the print head.
4. Reinstall printer drivers and software. If none of the above helps, try uninstalling and reinstalling the printer and software to correct possible software bugs, errors or conflicts.
Canon-Specific Issues
5. Check printer drivers. Navigate to "Control Panel > Printers > Right Click > Properties > Update Driver" to check for a new driver for your printer. You can also find drivers and software on the Canon Support site (see Resources).
6. Resolve the Waste Ink Error. Press menu on the printer and press scan/copy to enter service more. Press the right arrow to access "NVRAM." Set ABS-M level to 0. Set ABS-P level to 0. Press "Stop" to exit.
7. Resolve Wrong Cartridge Message. Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord. Remove the cartridges and the print head. Clean the print head in lukewarm water. Set it aside to dry. Clean the contacts gently with an eraser and wipe with a tissue. Reinstall the print head and reinsert the cartridges. Run a cartridge alignment.
8. Resolve E0D02 error. Clean the cartridges and the sender strip. The sender strip is behind the rubber drive belt behind the main hatch. It runs horizontally across the machine. Wipe it gently with a lint free cloth.

Step one: Reset the printer
CAUTION: Do NOT perform any other type of reset on the printer before the ink initialization process has been completed.
  1. Without turning the power off, remove the power cord from the back of the printer and from the wall socket.
  2. Wait 30 seconds and reconnect the power cord to the printer and to the wall socket. Turn the unit on if it is not already turned on.
  3. Check the printer for the error message. If the error message still displays, go to the next step.
Step two: Clean the cartridge contacts

  4. Gather the following cleaning materials:

  5. Lightly moisten the swab or cloth and squeeze out the excess moisture.

  7. Replace the cartridge and then close the latch and the printer top cover.
  8. Check the printer for the error message. If the error message still displays, go to the next step.
    NOTE: The printer may take up to 15 seconds to clear the error and recognize the cartridge after closing the cover.

Complete the steps below in the order presented to resolve the problem. It might not be necessary to complete all of the steps.

MFC 210c Unable to Print Use Troubleshouting and routine maintenance chapter in Users Manual

My color has not worked well in the past few months. Now I get the message Unable to Print, Use Troubleshooting and rountine maintenance chapter in user's manual. I've tried everything it told me. I've removed all ink cartridges and left them upright (they are ALL brand new) and cleaned all the ink ports. I've cleaned the machine several times. It's told me there's no ink cartrige, I've replaced them, turned the machine off and on, unlplugged, etc. Then go to print and I get the same message again and it won't print. The machine is almost 2 years old and has worked fine until about 6 months ago when the magenta stopped working all together. Now this. Any help? Thanks.

ERROR MESSAGE : 0502

Hi gtiedith, sometimes the carridge just gets stuck. Leave the lid open. Power off the printer. Clean the carridge metal rod with a tissue. (Just a little wipe should do it. Than grab the carridge & slide it to the right about 2 inches. Close the lid & power on the printer. It should be just fine. Print a test page if you want to.

Printer Problems

ok" take cartriges out of printer , water on clean cloth make it damp, wipe ink heads, take a pencile with eraser , use eraser on printed circuite on the back of cartidges to clean contacts, use eraser back and forth, wipe with cloth , put it back in the printer . may have to run printer tools to clean cartridges also
