334P24201 is the part number. There are alternative numbers 334D100018 and 334P24201(0) which Mitsubishi state as an alternative. You can get these both on; http://www.astimag.com/prodspec/astinumber=2928.htm or http://www.technotronic-dimensions.com/Products2-2.html (second one specifies is in stock) There are many more - please ask again with details of where you are if you would like us to find the best option. Hope this helps :)

Cs-36509 mitsubishi tv has a flicker.Makes it hard to read words. Is real bad when you first turn the tv on, but after a minute it settles down, but is still there all the time... any suggestions?

Yes first it may just be bad solder on the
flyback transformer , or the Picture in Picture
module has some bad caps . a fair shop
price is about 180-200 and it worth the repair
they are great TVs and are made to last.

ps i have repaired my mitsubishi once , and
its going strong. 18 years old .

THE OLD STUFF IS BETTER THEN THE NEW STUFF.

TV WON'T COME ON MITSUBISHI

Hard to say , but as a repair tech we
check the Hoz TRAN and 80% of the time thats the problem . its not hard to find
but you will need a volt meter ,to check it

its a black kind of square part screwed to
a big heatsink next to the big black transformer ( Flyback) if all 3 of the legs show short on the HOT TRAN , a 6.00 part fixes
your TV.

Flay back tv mitsubishi model cs40507

Mitsubishi has offices in Brazil. Apparently, they are out of the consumer TV and consumer entertainment business for a number of years now.

With the phasing out of CRT television sets, I have my doubts you will find a flyback unless you can find a scrap TV of the same model as yours. You can also try eBay or others like that to see if you can find this part.
