Kenmore agitates, but no spin or drain

After agitation it won't spin or drain; timer stops. I can push timer and advance to next wash option but agitation is the only action. I was able to drain the water by lowering drain hose into a bucket. Same for all wash options. Could this have anything to do with the pump? Any suggestions? Thx

Your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. To check the pulley you should remove the pump from the washer and try to rotate its pulley manually. If it doesn't turn freely(frozen or stiff) it should be replaced. In case of a broken pump's belt or belt looks quite worn, replace it. In any case, check the pump's pulley before you replacing the belt. Good luck !

Beko WMP652W washing machine will start cycle but get stuck at end of wash, doesnt go onto rinse or spin any help please?

When the cycle doesn't advance, it's probably the timer or a cold-water supply problem: It's the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer. It may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse water. My machine loads and agitates, but will not drain, rinse or spin

If this is a top load machine check the lid switch.
If you manually advance the timer to spin, open then close the lid, and get no spin, it is a bad lid switch.
If it does spin, report back for the next step.

Washer agitates, drains OK, but spin doesn't start

Timer is defective. Your unit has a netural drain. When finished agitating, the shuts down and then starts up reversing to drain and spin. On the initial reverse start, the water drains without the transmission spinning. After a timed period 3-4 minutes, the timer is supposed to pause, stopping the motor for a few seconds. When the motor stops again, the transmission shift to the spin cycle and when the timer resumes power tothe motor it should spin. You are doing the same thing when you lift the lid...stopping the timer and then the tranny shifts and when you set the lid down, the washer spins. Replace the timer.......
