Info needed on rice cooker Bravett model MC665H, how rice can go into pot, what type of rice, and how long to cook

Hi,
A cup of rice is equivalent to two person, depends how a person consumes the rice.
First wash the rice by rinsing it two times( using the pot itself ) with fresh water, add water till it cover the whole rice, amount of water should not exceed the level of your first line mid finger. After that put it in your rice cooker and switch it on. Rice cooker cooks it automatically.
White rice does not need extra time to cook.
Brown or any colored rice should be left or soaked for 10 to 15 minutes before cooking it ( because it is a bit hard ).

I have a Bravetti Rice Cooker and cannot find the manual. I need to know how to cook rice. How much water,rice, time to cook. Model MC665H

I imagine my moms' tried and true method is the best.put rice in and fill tot he first joint of the finger next to your pinky.. That would be about 1 in. from the surface of the leveled rice to the water line.
You can try this on a small pan to be cofortable with it. My mother is filipino .

The steam vent can be removed by turning it counterclockwise.

How to clean Zojirushi NS-MYC 18 rice cooker

I just took my lid apart on my rice cooker. My suggestion for dealing with the dirty stainless steel cover under the vent hole is to not look at it! The lid is not designed to come apart. I had to pry the top cover off of the lid. Once again just don't look in the vent hole and everything will be fine. (sorry about the bold letters my bold got stuck.) Have fun with the yuck in the vent hole.
