Ilo 26inch HDTV Remote will not work TV

Using the On-screen Display (OSD)
The remote control or the control buttons on the side of the TV can control all the function settings. The
OSD allows you to adjust contrast, brightness and other settings. The TV will save changes made to the
settings, even if the TV is turned off.
The OSD consists of several menu options. The main menu options may vary depending on your
selected input source.
Note: Some of the main menu options may have additional submenus, for example, the TV Rating
submenu for Parental Controls.

1. Press the VIA button.
2. Press ? or ? on the remote control to select the HDTV
Settings App, and then press OK. The Main Menu will be
shown on the screen.
3. Press ?, ?, ?, or ? on the remote control to select one of
the menu options:
? Input
? Wide
? CC
? Sleep Timer
? TV Settings
? PIP
? Network
? Bluetooth
? Help
4. Press OK to select the option or feature you want to adjust.
5. Once the menu option is displayed, press ? or ? on the
remote control to select one of the items to adjust.
6. Press OK to select it, and then press ?, ?, ?, or ? to adjust the selection.
7. Press BACK once to return to the previous screen. To return to your program once adjustments
have been completed, you can do one of the following:
a. Press EXIT on the remote control.
b. Press the RED button on the remote control.
c. Highlight and select the RED X in any menu.

The symptoms your TV is experiencing is due to a power supply that is not longer providing the 5 volts properly to the circuitry.

It's unlikely that a setting you changed in the user menu would have locked out both the remote and the panel.

It sounds to me like the micro has gone bad. One other option, is a stuck or damaged button assembly. Corrosion on the button board can lock the micro.

i too went 3months with no remote or codes finally a young tech at walmart in another town told me to use 0171 code but cable guy set me up on cable remote to turn tv on and off tech told me to get a one for all remote 9.99 at walmart and code it but to also push setup code for tvdvd and enter code i use cable remote for tv viewing and the one for all to reach video 2 (press tv/vid button twice) for games and dvd player now i can access menu and use my tv as it should hope this helps

Hey you should try finding an exact replacement for this ilo hdtv. If you have your model number for your ILO hdtv you can go to a website like http://www.remotecontrolscenter.com and look through their catalog for a new replacement remote control, which is the exact same remote you got in the box with your ILO TV and should work right out of the box, unlike most universal remote controls. If they can't help, there are alot of other major replacement remote companies out there! Hope I helped!

I recently bought an ILO 32 HDTV with the same problem. I searched every site I could find for a solution. I finally found someone that gave me the direction to replace the Main Board for the TV. This is the board that you can plug your exteranl devices into, computer, dvd, HDMI etc.

The phone # to Digital Age is 909-974-2859. These are the people who can send you the part you need. Also the remote that I have is RC-500, which is the newest remote control for the new Main Board. I would suggest getting this remote.

The price of the board was $123.89 with $10.00 shipping. It only took 4 days to get the board from Ontario California, and yes they do speak english.

I removed the backpanel myself and then removed the metal cover over the Main Board. Remember to mark all of your wires and screws so you can put them back in the same location. The connections are all quick disconnects and the board is one piece. I had the board replaced and the back panel back on within an hour. All buttons working on the TV and the remote control, and the TV is working great with sound.

But I do not have the Manual......does anyone have the manual? I am willing to help anyone with a fix for their TV for a copy of the TV Manual.
