Readout on microwave

The numerical display hasn't worked correctly for a while. Is there any way to repair it or have it repaired? The numbers are only partially visible at some times but mostly the digits are not visible.

There is no mention of a fuse in the owner's manual. I guess I'll have to call a repair person!

That would be a problem with your control board. It probably needs a few capacitors and a relay replaced and minor circuit board repair.

LCD display missing part of numerals

Yes, we repair these displays for $32.50 with a one-year guarantee. Repair Clinic charges $169.35 for the display board assembly. Tritronics (our supplier) sells the assembly with display (part # DPWBFC167WRKZ) for $107.07. On the rare occasions when we actually replace that type of board for our customer (at our cost of only $73.33) we also perform our proprietary fixes on it. We do that so the new display does not also fail in a few months, or even right out of the box! That actually happens!

I have a Sharp microwave oven R 1502. One of the button switch for Fan is broken. I got replacement parts. However, I found out in order to replace it, I have to remove panel attached to the front face plate. How can I do that? Do I have to disconnect the cable? It's really connected tight. Should I simply pull out? Also there's a hook on the bottom of the face plate attached to the microwave oven. How can I separate from the unit?
