No power During a photocopying operation my 1600n stopped working. i.e. the power just went off.I turned the power on/off switch to off and then on again. The power came on for approx. five (5)seconds and went off again. I have not been able to power the printer on since.
New development: I just discovered that whenever the cartridge door is opened the power comes on but of course the printer cnnot operate with the door open. Try it in another powerpoint. Try uninstalling it and reinstalling it on pc if not a stand alone unit. Could be the power support has died and may need repalacing.
