Question about RCA M2000 MP3 Player

Screen Problem One night i was just listening to my music, when the screen just shorted out on my M202E, now every time i try to turn it on i get no response, same with plugging it into my computer any help and or hope?

Oh and i've tried replacing the batteries numorous times.

I have the same issue.
Only, sometimes mine will turn on, but all it plays is "When You Look Me In The Eyes". When I try to press a button, it resets itself to the Jonas Brothers again.

Oh, mine responds when I plug it into the computer though.

RCA M202E Doesn't Turn On

The Led background light might have burnt out. Try plugging headphones in and turning it on and waiting to see if the music plays.

Fully charged and Not doing anything?

Press and hold [A>B/o] and [power/play/pause] buttons for four or so seconds. A screen pops up and like press the center, silver ['ok'] button about four times as a password or something. Doing this process wont delete your files or mess around with your settings.

It's a common problem with flex of the unit causing the video chip to coming un-soldered from the motherboard. It's possible to repair but very difficult requiring luck and specialist equipment.

Screen is white but music still plays

I have the same problem .. But i found a trick ...When you have a blank screen.
1 you must listen music else press play until you listen it
2. flip the switch on the side to lock position
3. press on buttom the next tune 1-2 seconds
4. you will have a black screen ( you listen the music again)
5. flip the switch on the side to normal position.
6 the screen appear ok now..

7. else repeat ( most time once is ok but sometimes 2 or 3 times)

HTC Touch Display lights constantly on while music playback ... Please Help

the screen display remains on if you're listening to music on the speakers. i've tried many things but couldn't overcome it. the only thing you could do is use the headphone to listen to the music. you can then put the device to sleep mode without interrupting the music.

RCA M202A will not read items on the memory card I inserted a 1 gig SD card into the player, plugged it up to my computer, added 606 megs of music to it, yet I can't get the player to read the music off of the card. I checked and made sure all files were MP3s and they are. How do I go about gettin my player to read the files on this memory card?
