Laser polygonal mirror lock detection. Try cleaning the bushing under the mirror.

SOURCE: i have L6 on toshiba e studio 161

L6 indicates Polygon motor lock detection where it does not rotate.
U can use SIM 61-1 to check the polygon motor operation or not, and the connector/wire harness. If confirm the polygon motor not working, then u need to replace it.

The L6 code is flashing on my copier
No you can't, it is the polygon motor not rotating. It is inside of the Laser unit. You should replace the polygon motor. The part code is RMOTN0028QSZZ. It will cost you about US$ 80
