The self clean feature is causing your thermal fuses to fail or open. This is a safety mechanism that when open (bad) won't allow electricity to pass through any longer. The temperature in your oven exceeds what the components in your appliance can handle. If you want your oven to last it's longest, I would discontinue using that feature. Verify that the Whirlpool oven is connected to its power source. The oven may sometimes lock down if experiencing a power surge or similar electrical problems. Additionally, check that a fuse hasn't been blown in your home's fuse box. Some older homes may not have the proper wiring to support a high-powered appliance such as a Whirlpool oven. Check to see if the Whirlpool oven's Control Lock has been turned on, a safety mechanism designed to lock the oven and disable its keypad and display controls. THE DOOR LOCKS TO PREVENT SOMEONE GETTING BURNED DURING THE EXTREME HEAT PRODUCED DURING THE SELF CLEANING PROCESS.UNPLUG THE OVEN, IT SHOULD RESET ITSELF. BE CAREFUL

Error code E2F3 indicates oven overheating, i.e. sensor is not cutting off heat. Replace the sensor, about $75 online. If you have done this more than twice, or if oven is acting strangely (for instance, broiler comes on during "bake" preheat), replace control board OEM part #8302994, about $170.

When you use your self clean feature, your oven heats up to over 800 degrees and this normally takes your electronic computer control board out.

Your thermal fuse or TOD mounted to the back of the oven went out during the self clean,it shuts off the power to the elements.
 The oven must be removed from the wall to change this.

most likely the safety latch got stuck from the super heat of the oven while cleaning. try tapping the latch with a screwdriver and hammer, spray a bit of wd-40 on it wont hurt. i believe the self cleaning on ovens is crazy, as the heat damages things, including the finish of the unit.

Self cleaning features are not recommended by most appliance technicians. The ovens are not constructed satisfactorily to expel the 1000 degree heat, Therefore the thermal fuses blow as well as other parts failures.
Remove the oven. Remove the rear panel. Replace the thermal fuse in the back of the oven. Use Easy Off next time.
