No power in amp

If you had a "Bose" sound system - Factory installed - it should have and Amplified System - which means the original stereo will supply power to the Speaker Amps - that is the circuit that didn't get connected and why there is no sound.

The remote wire from your head unit should be blue and there should be a wire that connects that to your amp. Make sure it is hooked up. Also, if you are using the high in put wiring up above, it shouldn't be mixed with your RCA. That wiring diagram is not needed for the subs. You should also check the gauge on you power wire that runs from the battery to the amp. If it is 4 or less it should be good if it is Copper Clad aluminum (CCA) it will put out power similar to 8 gauge copper wire. Most of the time the problem with the low output of subs is the amp wiring kit. You could have great subs and a great amp, but if the wire isn't any good it can sound like ****. Just FYI in case you weren't familiar with any of that. Always try to get pure copper wire when it comes to the power cable. You can google information about it. If you're wiring there is fine. Again, check the remote wires. Also check to see you have your amp levels turned up as well. As for the violet and violet/white. Those are referring to you speakers in your vehicle. Not your subs.

everything depence of system you putting in your car if u have no amplifire you connecting the speakers to radio as they marked i you putting one in, your speakers wires goes from amplifire to speakers there is no diffrent way of connection. also the diameter of your wires have to be adekwate to power u going to have in your system for optimizing the sound quality let me know if this help ya

first what are u trying to push, second, the amp is 150w rms. that mean constant power, and 250 @ 2 ohms, now you have power, gnd=ground, and remote<- that turns the amp on when you turn on the car, power or the + sign is what gets connected to the battery, then the ground/gnd or - sign is what gets screwed to the metal of the car, then there is the remote this wire gets connected to your radio, or to any accessory fuse, i.e. lighter, radio fuse, or if you have an aftermarket radio, then it gets connected to the blue with white stripe wire, that will be the amp turn on wire.
You will need red wire about 17ft, black wire about 1ft, and 15 to 16 ft of remote wire, or you can just by an amp kit, that will be easier.
now that the amp is done, time to do the speakers;
You have + and - on the amp, and your speakers have the same signs as well, just make sure when you wire the speakers + goes to + and - goes to -. if you need more help call me @ 6314330567

did you hook up the power antenna or amp. turn On wire? make sure you should ha a wire that is to power an antenna and this is the wire that has 12 volts as soon you turn On your stereo and send 12 volts to your amp. but if you don't connect this wire, the amp will never turns On

First reinspect your power and ground connections, vibration may have loosened them.

Then be sure that amp location has proper ventilation, (overheating will cause shout down)
A 2400 in a closed space will definitely need exhaust fans to help circulate cool air around the amp.

The cap should be mounted close to the amp and properly charged before use. It is connected in-line with the main power lead paying close attention to the power in and power out terminals.

Power in = from the battery
Power out = to the amp

have u connectted the remote wire from head unit to turn amp on? have u got + and - the rite way round.hope this of use.

Sounds like you shorted out the main power wire somewhere and killed the amp. Is the amp on the fuse intact or blown? Do you have 12 volts at the amp? check you connections and see if it helps.

Hmm...ive had this problem before and its always been either the remote wire, the rca cables or the ground. i would try hooking up the remote wire strait to the battery, if that doesnt work try to find a better place for the ground. maybe where your trunk latches. if that still doesnt work then i would try new rca cables.
