generally you hook it straight into the headphone jack some computers have a speaker setup category with the soundcard software. you can look under control panel to find out or not
If you have anything electronic move it away from the speakers it can cause interference. Then clean the plug for the speakers into the machine as well as the port. The way to do this is with electrical cleaner. Put some on the end of the jack and with the computer and speakers off spin it in the jack to clean it.

there obviuosly is a defect.
You will need a cord that plus into the headphone jack or speaker out jack on the computer and has rca end to plug into the audio input on the TV.It will look like the one pictured.Please rate this solution.
do windows updates and choose to download the driver for your soundcard. if they're not on the windows update, then try to go to the manufacturer's website to download the soundcard driver.

I cannot hear anything other than low noise
