Zenith rear projection television

Ur tv have been in use for at lest 4 or 5 hours a day the last 1 1/2 or 2 year?The projection bulb life it over.Require a new bulb.

Ur convergence is dead,need convergence kit.
U know how to solder right?Tries these websites for convergence kit.Tv Repair World.com,Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com or Partstore.com

YOU HAVE BAD CONVERGENCE IC'S AND POSSIBLY SOME LOW OHMAGE RESISTORS THAT FEED THE IC'S.

WRONG TV -SORRY

i have a samsung hdtv and direct tv is attached to it. and i can't get a better picture than 480 i when the tv is capable of 1080i. ? when i change the cable box higher its just blurry. what do i do?

It could be as simple as dust contamination in the LE or lcd chip. You need a clean room to work on this area of the unit and NOTHING you can do there would make that possible, short of spending a few thousand to build one. Before we added a clean room enviroment we simply pulled the LE and sent it in to PTS - who has one and reinstalled...
In your case take it to a qualified shop and you'll save yourself a lot of grief..

CALL ZENITH AND PROVIDE SERIAL NUMBER AND PROOF OF PURCHASE. THEY WILL SEND TECH OUT TO FIX OR REPLACE TV. THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH MANY PROJECTION TV'S BECAUSE OF A FAULTY PART.

Hello Was wondering if you ever found anything out how to reset the IC Screen Numbers or what the factory numbers all are on the Zenith Rear Projection TV Model # R57W46? I have the same problem ! My 2 year old son, not knowing how he did it cuze only a technecian is suppose to get into this screen, but he did change numbers in the too. I called zenith themselves and no luck ! My screen is bowed , etc.. Any Help ?

Most likely a unit this age with start showing signs of weak crts. These crt's hava a life of 7 to 10 years and your discription is failing crts. I am afraid it is time to move to a new unit.
