Motorola razr v3a shutting off when it is closed

down load motorola phone tools from www.modmymoto.com the proper drivers will load and youll be fine

it could be bluetooth profile (1.1) and you may need 2.0.

From the manual, p. 31:
"BACKLIGHT
Set the amount of time that the display and
keypad backlights stay on, or turn off backlights
to extend battery life.

Find it: (on menu) > Settings > Initial Setup > Backlight"

Try a new battery if that does not work then you should take the phone and have the firmware flash to correct this error.....take the phone to a mobile service center to have this done.

no it will not, take the phone to a mobile service center and have them replaced the LCD for you

Buying a special program, and a usb cord that is designed for your phone might help, personaly i dont download my walpaper i take a picture of it

Sounds like the phone isn't detecting that it has been closed. I have had a reconditioned v3a and to be honest, there was no difference between it and my old one. It looked brand new, and acted brand new. In fact, it even had a 0:00 call timer on it. I'd say let them replace it.

just send it to motorola company and they will repair it for u . it wil cost u a little . or just change ur phone.
