Hotpoint wf860 Having a problem at first with F-01 message now the door lock will not come on stopping the machine from working. LCD looks normal.

    HAD TO CALL OUT A ENGINEER. HE FITTED A NEW PLC CONTROL PANEL.

I've the same problem with my Hotpoint washing machine WF860P giving F01 flashing on screen ,machine not working, how could over come this and make the machine work again?
Please if you know the solution let me know

FO1 is a motor based faultcode, however door lock falt can only be caused by a faulty doorlock or pcb. Regards Advisor

'door' stands for Door Error. There is likely to be a problem with either the door solenoid/lock or the 'door closed' sensor requiring a service engineer's attention I suggest ;-0(

My hotpoint ultimat WT960 has F-01 flashing at me. What do I do to fix this and get my machine to work again?
heres what it says on the hotpoint site F01 - Short circuit motor triac which usually means you have to replace the control board you might want to call for a technicain if you are not able to make an electonic repair of this nature if you are able to make the repair you can find the part at marconeapplianceparts or allbrandsapplianceparts they will both be able to mail your part directly to you door. Error message f01
F-01 Motor triac short circuit this means that there is something wrong with the main board. but there is a thing to try 1st try unplugging the machine for 5 mins and plugging it back in and switch it on and try again. if it still dose not work after some attempts then it looks like you need to get the engineer out to fix it, hope this helps.

My hotpoint ultima has stopped halfway through a wash and has the word door flashing.
It happened on our machine. The soloution to this for me was to take the lid off (two screws). Unplugged from mains. I found the connector to the door had vibrated off and was just hanging loose. Plugged it back in and it worked straight away.Door opens as normal.
Don't forget to look in the manual for how to get the door open in an emergency

Hotpoint ultima washing machine is showing a fault
F 05 normally means there is a blockage or a fault with the pressure sensor. The common place for blockage is in the black pipe from the drum to the pump as it has a filter in here and clogs up. remove the pipe and clean the filter out and remove gunk from the pressure sensor on the side of the pipe as well. If that does not fix things the pressure switch could be faulty itself

it's on test mode for the factory. this comes on if you hold the on and start buttons together. can be reset by turning on while holding both on until dOFF appears.
