My Mp3 player blinks when i turn it on and never turns of and to turn it off. I take out the battery and put it back in. What should i do?
Here's how I fixed mine:
Turn on your MP3 player, it should be blinking. Plug it into your computer and wait for it to link up. Then use your computer to format it, THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING, so copy off your music before hand.
Then go to this web site and download and install the software:
http://www.machspeed.com/tech/firmupdate.html
Now when you start the software, if it doesn't find your MP3 player (it didn't find mine) it will say your firmware version is 0. Go to the DETAILS button. It will list four files (it will show five but two are the same file) for he update. Locate these files on your computer and copy them to you MP3 player.
Pull out your MP3 player, and it should now work. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Crapy mp3 Player
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard

I meant to say "turns off" not "turns of". And i meant "to turn it off," not "to turn it off."
Im going to get a Zune 30GB soon, but thanks anyway!
