I replace the batteries in the remote control and the train will not go. Is there batteries in the train that might need to be replace, if so, where do I find them?

According to the Instruction Manual it requires 6 AAA batteries, you will need a Phillips screwdriver to access the panel where you must replace it.
The remote controller and the engine need batteries.
Engine
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the Engine. • Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Lower the battery compartment door and insert three "AAA" (LR03) alkaline batteries. • Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • If this product begins to operate erratically, you may need to reset the electronics. Remove the batteries and replace them in the toy.

48GX has been idle for 4 years.Wont turn on. Is there an internal battery that I can replace?

The 48GX runs on three AAA type alkaline batteries. However, if the device was unused that long, the button cells used for backing up the RAM cards may also be depleted, and the calculator will report "low battery" displaying the ((.)) symbol, even with fresh AAA cells installed.

The RAM card mounted batteries are type CR2016.

Main batteries:
  • Remove the calculator battery compartment door by pressing down and sliding it off away from the calculator.
  • Turn the calculator and shake the batteries out.
  • Replace with a fresh set of AAA alkaline batteries. Polarity is marked on the bottom of the battery compartment.
  • Replace the battery compartment door by sliding it back in place.
RAM card batteries:
  • Turn the calculator over and remove the plastic cover over the plug-in card ports (display-end of the calculator).
  • HP recommends to turn on the calculator while replacing the RAM card battery to avoid memory loss. I assume, your HP48GX has no marbles to recover by now anyway, so it does not matter, I guess.
  • Near the left side of the end of the card. you'll find the nail grip in the black plastic battery holder. Use a thumbnail to gently pull out the battery holder. There is one battery in each card (additional cards are options).
  • Remove the old battery from the holder and replace by a new CR2016 button cell. The "+" side of the battery should point into direction of the calculator's front.
  • Re-insert the holder with the new battery and check the RAM card is properly seated still.
  • Close the compartment by sliding back in the cover.

CF Card not found

Ok here is the issues with the Canon 300D digital Rebel XT model of camera. First issue bent pins or broken pins the CF card reader on this camera is Surface mounted soildered onto the bottom half of the mainboard a large ammount of disasimboly is required. After removing the mainboard next you need is a desolder rework station. to carefully remove the CF card reader from the mainboard one messup and it might be easier to replace the mainboard. Sometimes. next issue is the power issue if you have no bent pins or missing pins, and the battery door is pushing on the door closure switch and the memory card door is pusting on its door closure switch then most likely you issue is 1 of 3 fuses underneath the power switch. these switches are the size of a few grains of salt very very small.I charge 150.00 to change the fuses and 225.00 to replace the CF card reader as long as none of the traces are damaged. if they are damaged the main board would need to be replaced and it is around 250.00 + depending on the parts cost at the time. If your good at soldering go for it. if not then let the experts do it.

CAMERA WILL NOT TURN ON

Had the same problem. Open battery/memory card compartment and identify the protruding piece on the inside of the door which when the door is closed appears to make contact with a switch. I solved my problem by using a very soft pointed object and very very gently pushing down on the switch. Replace the battery & memory card and switch the camera on as normal. It worked for me which would suggest that maybe sometimes the switch can become stuck or the protruding part on the door does not make proper contact. Hope this works for you.

Battery/memory card compartment wont close

Don't force it. It could be that your memory card is in backwards. This is a common cause for your battery door to not shut.

Hope this helps!

Sony Cyber-Shot Battery Compartment Door Broken

I'm having the same problem with my DSC-W1 camera. I dropped my camera and the battery door latches broke.
I found a replacement door on Ebay for $9.95
I followed the instructions in the description and easily removed the broken door from my camera. Now i'm just waiting on the new door to arrive so I could slide the new door in.
I hope this was helpful.

Here's the seller I bought the door from. Hopefully the seller has more doors. =) :

Canon Digital rebel Wont turn ON

This happened to me today. The lens drive sounded weird - like off gear. Then it froze and wouldn't turn off without taking out the batteries. Then, it would turn on. Now it's ok. What I did was remove the cf card, lens, regular battery, and the little battery that is also in the battery compartment. I let it all sit while I did other things. When I put it all back together it turned on and I had to set the date but everything worked fine.
