Is this just one video, or all videos?

I know Creative likes to only play certain files types (.wmv, .mov, .avi), and if you're trying to play another type of file that isn't supported (.mpeg, .mpeg2, etc), it will give you the "Video format not supported" message.

You have a portable video/audio player, lets say a fancy Creative Zen, which you got as a gift from your friends or you bought for yourself, and would like to watch your favorite movies or just listen to the beautiful music using it? Sometimes you might encounter such an embarrassing situation as you are trying to playback a certain file format (video/audio) on it, but it just cant work out. Creative Zen video converter is just the program you need. It is a simple yet powerful Video to Creative Zen converter software that can convert almost all video/audio formats to Creative Zen compatible format and enables you to solve these problems quite easily with a few mouse clicks.

At the moment when you feel you got what you wanted of using Creative Zen video converter, there are reasons to save your project, in case if you want to change any adjustments and settings late, or a desire to get the resulting video as soon as possible.

The videos have to be converted using Creative Centrale in order to placed on the player. This was the same way with a lot of Creative's Zen line of players also.
If you don't have the copy that the Mosaic came with, you can download it here.
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&CatName=MP3+Players&subCatID=214&subCatName=ZEN&prodID=17897&prodName=ZEN+Mozaic

It is under the "Applications" section.

I can't find A manual for my Creative Zen Mozaic

Hello,

All support for Creative Zen Mozaic is on next site:
http://support.creative.com/Products/ProductDetails.aspx?catID=213&CatName=MP3+Players&subCatID=214&subCatName=ZEN&prodID=17897&prodName=ZEN+Mozaic&bTopTwenty=1&VARSET=prodfaq:PRODFAQ_17897,VARSET=CategoryID:213

After selecting a download you'll have to scroll down and AGREE.

There's a Quickstart User Guide link near the player's picture: select the Quickstart front and back page for this short guide.

For a manual go for a dowload of the latest Starter Pack:
Download the execute file "ZENMozaic_PCApp_E6_1_16_02.exe".
Install Creative Centrale: double click the execute file.

After installation there's a user guide with the name manual.chm under
"Hard Drive location for programs", e.g. C:\Program Files\Creative\Creative ZEN Mozaic.
The manual can also be opened from start > All programs > Creative > Creative ZEN Mozaic > Creative ZEN Mozaic User's Guide.

1. Firmware [for your player]
Get a download from the support site and install:
this will put maps onto the device. Communication with the software
on the computer is available after getting the next item (2.) is done.

2. Application software [for the computer]
2.1 Creative Centrale (+ User Guide) is usefull to get songs on your Mozaic.
2.2 Windows Media Player 11 can be used as well. Note: You'll first have to make a playlist: Save the playlist: Next Synchronize it onto
the Zen.

3. Drag and drop
Once firmware is installed you can also use the drag and drop method. Move music, pictures, video inside maps on the computer into the corresponding map onto the player.

Don't hesitate to post a comment
when this will not get your Zen to play.

My brand new zen mozaic 4gb not working

What operating system you are using? it should be 'rollup 2 windows xp for media center 2005' and your player should be 'windows media player 11' then install creative centrale version 1.4.5.0.

My zen mozaic won't support any video files i put on it. what files does it take?

well, creative zen likes avi, mpg and wmv formats

the reason that your creative zen won't read the avi is because the necessary codec is missed.

you can use iorgsoft creative zen video converter to convert the video to mp4,wmv then put them to creative zen.

http://www.iorgsoft.com/Creative-Zen-Video-Converter/

if you want to put DVD onto creative Zen, fine, you can use iOrgsoft DVD to Creative Zen converter to remove the DRM(Digital Right Management) and regional restriaction from DVD, and you can also use it to convert DVD to avi, wmv or mpg for playback on creative zen.

You don;t even need the RealPlayer, you can use YouTube Downloader (free) to download the video to your hard disk and then convert them to MP3.
