Goodmans tv model LD1971D

You need to have child lock code! Maybe has factory default Look manual. Sometimes factory reset overides child lock. Not sure about your model though.

Please refer to the user manual to open the panel lock. If you do not have the user manual, please search on google with the model number .

Possibly, you will need an original remote to disable or turn off this feature. And some child lock can be accessible through neither MENU of your tv or remote. Check CHILD LOCK option to remove it. If it is a screen lock type of CHILD LOCK feature of tv (a Blue Background display a LOCK icon) and your original remote is lost, try a universal remote for you to possibly unlock it. Without its remote control, you can't unlock this TV.

Yes,ur tv does require a tv orginal remote will help u to used,but the child lock mode must have a secret codes to enter it.Can't turn tv on,must have the tv original remote to enter child lock secret codes though.Tries Goodmans website look for there 1-800.. call ask their customer service they can help to erase the child lock secrect password,if u don't know it.Try website Remotes.com to buy the tv original remote.

If you don't see your TV model, select one that is "close" and see if the manual helps you re-tune your TV. They probably all re-tune the same way.

i have nec 42" lcd tv have lost remote and cant do anything as child lock is on can only turn of at mains can anyone please help to unlock?

You need to be more specific with the model number. Most Sansui TVs have model numbers like "SAN2701" plus a version letter like "Version A"

Additionally, procedures for removing the Child Lock, Panel Lock and TV Lock are in the users manual.

In some models, for the V-Chip, the original code is 000000, if you want to clear the code, please press the keys VOL + and VOL - on the front panel at the same time.The password of the TV's V-Chip Set up or Movie V-Chip Set up may be changed at any time. Press UP or DOWN to input the password,then press to select OK or Cancel. Press menu to confirm your input.
