I see this problem with this model of TV alot. U have a bad power supply. Don't know if u want to fix or not ,but if your interested remove to back cover and in the center of the power supply you should see a fuse with a yellow stripe right next too it is there a capacitor thant is leaked ? ( just wanting to know out of interest what is the first 6 digits of your serial number, trying to gather information on this particilar problem On the right hand side of power supply where the power plugs into it. there should be a number LJ44-000119A ? If you could let me know it would be greatly appericated.

This can be a major problem, I would box up and take back to store and demand a new one. They have to give you one, it's been only a few days. Say was damaged in shipping or damaged on floor.
