2002 SEAT Alhambra 12v constant

I'm installing a new Pioneer MVH-350BT but it loses all memory when the car is switched off. I understand this is a problem with the 12v constant wire but I don't know which one to change. The yellow is marked 12v+ constant but it seems to be connected properly from the unit to the ISO block. Very grateful for any help.

SOURCE: wiring a used pioneer deh-p630 date mfd. june 2001

blue/white is an amp turn on wire it is only needed if you have an aftermarket or factory amplifier in the car. It can also be used if you have a power antenna and there is not a power antenna wire in your harness. Yellow/white I don't recall ever seeing in a wire harness are you sure it is not orange/white? If it is orange white then it is a dimmer and you could hook it up to orange white on your harness or just cap it off and leave it alone. The yellow wire is your 12Volt constant power wire. This needs to go to a constant source of power and the red wire needs to go to a switched source of power. If you do the power wires wrong you will drain you battery fast.

STEREO ETC STAYS ON EVEN AFTER TURNING IT OFF AND REMOVING THE KEY

It sounds like you have a constant 12V power supply wired to the radio instead of a switched 12V. If you've recently installed a new radio, check your wires again. There should be a 12V constant and a 12V switched. The switched 12V will turn the radio off, while the constant 12V is for keeping the clock and radio memory working.

Battery wire on Pioneer 2000 MP is yellow....what is the memory wire?

Not sure what you mean by memory wire but usually it is: Yellow - 12V constant Red - 12V switched by ignition
The 12V constant on the yellow wire allows for settings to be stored when the ignition is off. The 12V switched by the ignition on the red wire is what powers the unit up for use.

My yellow cable is wired up yet still loses memory is it the yellow that should be constant live on the harness? but what colour is the origional constant live that conects to yellow?

If its losing memory swap the red and yellow over, some cars are red switched and yellow permenant, some are the other way, if you swap the two 12v feeds it will sort the problem.
