Not sure what operating system you are running so i will try to guide you
make sure that the wireless switch is enabled usually on the keyboard or the front of the laptop
go to your wireless icon down on the bottom right of your notebook
click or double click it so that it opens up and hopefully it will say networks available
if your router is named in there then highlight it or click it and connect to it
if your router is security enabled by yourself then you will have to enter the password or code
if you still have problems with connectiong to it then go to manage wireless networks delete your router from there and in a few seconds windows will relocate your router and offer it for connection again so go back to it click on it and re enter the password or code
Hi, In order to access the web interface of the router you should know the IP address of the router. Please try the following steps to check the ip address on the computer which is connected with the router (wired/wireless doesn’t matter). 1. Click on start the go to run and try cmd and click on ok. 2. Type ipconfig and press enter. 3. look for the default gateway numbers. the default gateway is the address of the router. Open internet explorer and type http://default gateway numbers (for example http://192.168.1.1) It should take you to the web interface of the router on which authentication is needed. The default user name and password is admin and admin. Let me know if it help. Rashish
