The WiFi router is a box that connects you to the internet as apposed to being connected directly by a wire. Firstly make sure you have internet working.

Before you can use the WiFi part you need to name the WiFi connection like WIFI1 and give it a password, like Letmein-please1 etc

To do this plug in the router and switch it on
Then using the cable that came with it plug one end into one of the router ports marked LAN not the one marked WAN or internet

Once connected plug the other end into your laptop or PC
On your PC use your internet browser to access inside your router to set it up for WiFi

There should be a card or detail that came with the router how to do this
To get access follow the instructions, of what to type in the top bar of your browser window etc

Once inside the router goto WiFi setting and setup and save the WiFi name and password and save.

Once set up is complete. Plug your internet cable into the WAN socket and any PC that needs internet into one of the LAN sockets

Now any WiFi enabled devices should now nternet access via your router just scan WiFi on your device select the WiFi name you gave use the password you set to access and you should be connected.
