I have this screen for about a year now. About two weeks ago this strange problem had started to occur. Whenever i turn my computer on, the screen displays fine for about a second, then turns blank while the led stays green. when turning the screen off and then on again, the Benq logo is displayed, and then the same thing happens - the display works fine for a second, then turns blank. This also happens when unplugging and plugging the screen again to either the computer or the power socket. It also occurs on several computers working with different resolutions and refresh rates. Both the power cable and the video cable seem fine for a non-expert like me. Thank you very much in advance, Dor
Dor, BenQ has a 3yr warranty on their monitors. I would contact their tech support and receive an RMA to return it for repair. It will cost you shipping out there but they will ship it back. I has a BenQ FP731 myself and it blew a capacitor inside that allowed the screen to stay on. Fixed it and had it back in 5-7 days. Good luck.

just purchased used from freind worked fine first day then it displays name breifly starts and goes dark power lite stays green if shut down breifly comes on then goes black much like problem guy haveing that brought me here

what action did you take. did you send it back to BENQ?
