Hello the driver site is here:

The drivers is probably only for xp but you can try to install win7 32bit
A 64 bit version will not run on this mainboard.
Consider to upgrade to a newer mainboard for better performance.

Don't get alarmed, if you still have the boards manual you can install the front panel pins and switches.
If you have no manual, go to this site and download the manual you needed, when you got there download the drivers update for newer versions of programs.

Have a look at this link from Mercury web site.

if this does not help you the try Asus. Asus has a mainboard model P4VM800 as well. V in the name indicates the board has a VIA chipset. Your video driver is S3 video which was used on those main boards.

go www.biostar.com.tw if your mb is biostar... otherwise go whatever site your motherboard`s label indicates.

I could link you directly but you have posted two models (K8M800-M7A and P4VM800) and the second one is not in the biostar list...

Hi ben,
you can download that driver by clicking on this link:
http://www.asrock.com/mb/download.asp?Model=P4VM800&s=478

You make a floppy disk with this driver & during windows install you watch the bottom of the screen & press F6. Windows will ask you to insert the floppy disk. (Do not forget to remove the floppy disk).

Asrock P4VM8 Motherboard I connected WD 250GB SATA hard disk into my P4VM8 motherboard. It is not detected by the BIOS program. I updated my BIOS program to ver1.30. Also installed new SATA drivers to 'SATA driver ver:3.00b' & 'VIA SATA Driver For Floppy Disk ver:3.00b'. But it didn't fix the problem. My hard disk is working. I checked it on another type of motherboard and also put another SATA hdd on my board, and still didn't work. Changed jumper settings to "1-2", "3-4" "5-6" AND default..still not recognized. I checked an IDE HDD and it recognize in Bios and it enters in XP. In BIOS - "Sata Operation modes" is in "RAID" mode. How can I get this SATA HDD to be recognized ? .. also checked power and data cables on sata, they are good.
