A problem started today. whenever I enter the call log, the phone resets. Before this started, I got 2 phone calls from a restricted # and no one was there. Could this be a virus? I am holding off on hot sync.
Purge call log.
Cant get to call log without it shutting down?
Call your self, leave message, then hang up. Then get to call log from there.
Tap upper left corner I think under file and find purge.
found out how to do that in the Treo book and on this website together. My wife got a new Treo phone out of it though thinking it was broken. Even the "techs" had not a clue. They could have looked online.-Found this site in 8 minutes.
I don't know how long you've had the phone or when was the last time you trimmed the log, but I recall having my T600 show very odd behaviors (incl. resets) when my call log grew over a certain size. I could not sync it and I had to purge it out of the backup folder on my PC (hard reset the Treo) and then all was good.
Had to take the loss on my call log though.
Not sure if that's your issue but worth looking into.
btw, if memory serves I think my call log was either 1 or 2 mb in size when it became a problem, but not 100% sure.
